All finished garments are stuffed with tissue wherever necessary to prevent wrinkling during travel and storage

Areas receiving special attention include the sleeves, placket, pocket, arm holes, collar and tail
No broken buttons and no missing collar stays
Collars and cuffs are pressed to perfection
Finished garments are placed on special hangers to retain the shape and form of the shirts

Suits:

Suits are individually inspected and hand ironed
All inner linings are pressed to perfection, lapels are properly rolled and sleeves are stuffed with tissue
There will be no shine or imprint on the pockets, even with dark suits
All finished garments are placed on special suit hangers

Pants:

Pants are individually inspected and hand ironed
All linings and inner seams are pressed properly
All missing buttons are replaced
Finished garments are hung on special hangers

Fine Ladies’ Clothing Requires Special Attention:

Blouses are carefully pressed, employing special equipment designed for women’s garments
Tissue paper and body forms are used to shape the shoulders and bust line
Long dresses are protected in bags with an extra enclosure at the bottom
Sequins, beading and fancy buttons are tested before cleaning to ensure excellent results
Fine silk garments are pressed by hand using a silk finishing board to ensure no shine or imprint

Alex Fine Cleaners also offers exceptional tailoring and alternations. Whether it is a simple hemming or a complete outfit remodeling, you can count on our expert tailor to get the job done properly. We specialize in remodeling structured items, from your fine suit, fine coat, dresses etc..

We have tailoring departments at our 2 locations, 1833 Queen St. E. (Beach) and 265 Wincott Dr. (Etobicoke). Appointments are recommended, but not required. There will always be someone there to do a proper fitting for you.
